Some thoughts though, in no particular order:
Gemma: She loves being queen bee. She has a lot of influence behind the scenes and probably resents Tara for her influence on Jax as much as for any past 'harm' she may have caused him. She would rather Jax got back with Wendy, as Wendy's much easier to control and won't lead Jax out from under Gemma's influence.
Clay: a great character, Ron Perlman is so good in this role. He's tough and grizzled, but underneath he does feel deeply for Gemma, even if he does sleep with Cherry, hurting Gemma. He even has feelings for Jax, but how far those emotions will stretch as the tension mounts will be interesting to see.
Tig: He's not very keen on Jax at all. There was one moment, when Jax came up with the money by selling the diesel to Unser and Tig had the foulest look on his face. He did't seem happy at all that Jax had done well, regardless that it was for the club. Opie is Jax' best friend & ally, which made us think that was a factor (even if just a small one) in Tig being so keen to finger Opie as a snitch. Definitely Clay's man.
Bobby Elvis: Doesn't seem to dislike Jax, but probably isn't one of his biggest supporters either. It'll be interesting to see how he deals with the aftermath of the shooting - Opie messed up, causing Bobby to shoot instead, but Jax sorted the problem out. So he may be grateful to Jax, but resent Opie - but at the same time may feel sympathy for Opie's loss. I would think he'd be on Clay's side if it came to that though.
Chibs: Again doesn't seem particularly close to Jax, or to Clay for that matter, altough he seems to be a loyal club member. He seems to come and go doing his own thing, more than the others, so may not get fully mixed up in any of the politics. I have a feeling he'd stick with Clay since Jax doesn't seem to be so keen on the gun-running, which is Chibs thing.
Juice: Didn't really get much from him. He seems to be a bit careless - making mistakes with the drugs, forgetting to load the guns etc, but how about this for a thought - if he's a fed, he may have deliberately not loaded the guns to avoid bloodshed, and in the scene where he was so wasted he was unable to take part, what if he was either faking or deliberately knocked himself out with whatever ? Just a thought. That aside, he doesn't seem to get too involved with the club politics either. Can't think whose side he'd end up on, he's young enough to prefer Jax, but doesn't really have much interaction with him.
Half-Sack: He could be juist a niave prospect (and we hope that is the case) but he could be a fed trying to infiltrate Samcro. Not a lot of evidence to point to this, apart from one line (when he had to chainsaw the deer in the windscreen) where Gemma says "never trust a vegetarian" - it could be a fore-shadowing, or it could just be a simple throwaway line to get a bit of humour in. Anyway, we liked Half-Sack, particularly when he would throw the boxing match - he even looked a bit hurt that he'd been asked to do such a thing. Again, he doesn't seem to have any side in the club politics, but Chibs grabbed him at one point and criad "that's ma prospect" so he may go whichever way Chibs goes. I'd be interested to find out who sponsored him into Samcro in the first place.
Opie: Such a likeable guy, don't you wish you had a friend like this ? (actually we do - our crew jokingly call one guy Opie now cause he's such a gentle giant - he loves it when we call him that) Our hearts were breaking for him by the end of the season, if anyone didn't deserve what happened to them it's him (oh and Donna too of course !).
Piney: A rough, grumpy exterior hides a soft heart for his family, and Jax's loyalty to Opie seems to include Jax in that family. He was a good freind of John Tellers and may know more that he lets on about John Teller's death.
Phew, that's just some of the thoughts I remember from the marathon SOA/wine/JD session
cheers
