I agree with everything you said. I think Jax felt totally betrayed by his father by him having another woman in another part of the world. Jax loves his mother so much and for JT to do that to her was the ultimate betrayal in his eyes. And do you think Tara will give Jax the letters knowing what this will do to him? Or is it really going to do anything to him or will he say good he deserved it for his betrayal? But you can bet Tara will be seeing Gemma and Clay in a whole new light.

i think that all john manuscripts in season 1 were pretty poetic and SOA started out how he wanted but it took a new direction (gun running, IRA realationship etc) he then decided it was a mistake but was in too deep to change it. maureens letter said "You deserve to know your father like I did" if she was involved with mcgee she would know it all and took johns side of the issue, jax says that johns manuscript wasnt about changing the club it was about changing his legacy and how he wants jax to find a different path. i dont think that he really betrayed gemma if she was with clay at the time of his afair with maureen. he said that "i am certain clay and gemma are together, they barly try to hide it from me"

This episode was so well written, and sets a new high standard for the club to plan and execute the perfect double cross. So many of the actors were stellar in this episode. Ally Walker has played her character full out and must have been a favorite of the writers, and did she ever bring it home. Dayton plays his role so genuinely, and the scene where he offers Stahl a hit saying "You should really have some." was a tip off that I totally missed. Excellent. Titus owned his role stone cold, and they wrote him a warrior's death. Writing the death of these two actors was took very strong antagonists from the story line, but the writers used their deaths well.

They have also used music so brilliantly from the beginning. Battleme's cover of "Hey Hey My My" chillingly tells a story as the action unfolds. Simply a great cap on excellent choices in interweaving music into the story line. Cool to see an Austin band on SOA.

They really brought it together in this one.. makes me wonder if KS has been reading the boards and seeing what's been being said.. He decided to step it up a bit i'd say.

i was thinking about the season finale and i now think that NS is more than just jax's ring on JT's grave. I think NS could also stand for natural selection. survival of the fittest, only the strongest will survive. think about it Jimmy vs Chibs, chibs the bigger man came out on top, Jax vs Stalh Jax vs Salazar the stonger always preveiled over the weaker and passed on to continue their journey.

This episode, in my opinion, was the best one of any season. When Unser pulled the gun on Stohl I literally screamed out "FUCK YEAAA!!!!". Then the school bus pulled up with Piney, Chibs and Opie and I was like hell yea it's going down right here.

I love the way that Chibs sliced Jimmy's face and then stabbed the knives into the top of his lungs. Then Opie executing Stohl in the car just the way Donna was killed. Brilliant!
