Good to see Tig was back on his game when he dove to cover Clay when Piny opened up on him. I think that resolved Clay's concerns about Tig having his back.

Did you notice in the preview how it looks like Jax is arranging the show down with the Arians (your 10 best against my 10 best)? I wonder if when this is all over Clay will retire as president and let Jax take the reigns.

I'd say it's too early for Clay to step down. I think the show needs him for at least another season or two at the bare minimum, though Kurt keeps writing things in completely the other way than I think they will actually play out.

If I'd had to guess, if any character will be making an exit in the next two episodes it will be Chief Unser (probably spelled that wrong). To me it seems like that exchange with Hale..."consider yourself acting chief"...more of less opened the door for that to happen. At the same time though, the Chief has played a big role this season, so maybe he's here to stay in one way or another, perhaps just not as the head of Charming PD.

Exactly, and no you didn't spell it wrong.
We've known since the series premiere that Unser was on his way out, I think this just solidified it.
He's not going to step out of the show though, they're working him in other ways, and that's a good thing.
These next two episodes are going to be pivotal, but I think we're really going to see Hale step up (we already kind of have, in the preview), which will lead to the season 2 cliffhanger. Then again, I have been saying for quite some time that the storylines can't be closed up before season 2 ends, but Sutter is definitely proving me wrong there ;) .

Not saying that Clay quits, just that he passes the reigns to Jax and sits back enjoys life without the headaches of being president.

i am going to have to disagree, its time for jax to tbecome club president the club needs a new way of business. even though jax needs to take over. leading the charge against zobell and weston must be shared between jax clay tig and opie
How bout you steal a fire truck, O and we can have our own little uniforms and hats?

I definitely here what you're saying, I just don't see Clay passing the torch yet. I don't think he's ready...although we do see him get pretty upset with himself (hands over his face, upset when telling the club about what really happened to Gemma in the Chapel) twice last time. That makes me wonder how all this will affect him. Whatever happens though, I'm sure Sutter is going to really blow our minds.

I am so looking forward to tonight's episode. Can't wait to see what kind of havoc the Sons wreak on Zobelle and crew. I have a feeling this will be the last season for Chief Unser and possibly Piney. I hope not for either one but will have to wait and see. I hope that we get to see the Prospect patched in this season also. Will be interesting to see everyone's comments tomorrow.

on a totally different note to all the previous posts....

did anyone notice Tara's hair changing several times throughout a particular scene ? Near the beginning, when she stands in front of Jax and pours her worries out to him, about him sleeping with anyone else, before she speaks she brushes her hair behing her ear. Next shot, long strands of hair across her face. Camera POV changes, hair behind ear, POV change, hair across face, etc etc for each POV change.

Nothing important, just an amusing continuity niggle. :D

Which strangley I've never noticed SOA being guilty of before

despite that, a great episode, which I watched again last night before watching episode 12.
