I missed it .. did Clay try to call it off when he found out Jax was with Tara?

Oh. My. God. What an amazing episode!!! This season has been soooooooo good in my opinion -action-packed from the get.
Yes Clay tried to call it off, no it didn't work & Gemma finally admits that Clay can't be saved.

I wasn't sure we were going to see Gemma alive after the beating Clay put on her. Gemma could forgive just about anything that Clay did but not mess with Jax and his family. I kinda thought she would have wanted to kill him herself but I guess she is going to leave that up to Jax. I wonder if her plan is to show him the letters. That really sucks about Tara. All her dreams just went down the drain. This season is really going to end with a bang. Wasn't sure if anything could have topped last seasons ending but we may just see it this year. Looks like Opie finds Piney next week. And I hate that new agent. And looks like the sheriff is starting to hate him too. I sure hope there is something in store for him like what they did to Stahl. I hate to think Juice turns rat. Lot of things going on. Lots to play out. Damn this season is going to end too soon.

OMG can this season get any crazier!! After that beating Clay gave Gemma, thats the final straw for her. I saw the preview for next week and saw Wendy is back, I wonder how that is going to play out?? Is she back to cause trouble for Tara and Jax? Does she expect to get Abel back somehow?

This was a horrible episode.

Not as in horribly done, it was one of the best this season, but the events were horrible.

The good parts were few:

Jax standing up for Alvarez. He had every right to get revenge against LeRoy for that.

Roosevelt Apologizing. It was nice to see him not only man up and apologize, which was really hard but he is also starting to come around a little bit, and show he's human, and may even help SAMCRO at some point, as he offered. He'll never go as fa off track for the sons as Unser did, but i wouldn't be surprised to see him help a little in the near future.

The bad parts were many:

The Tara Kidnap (Obviously). This was traumatizing for her, obviously. She knew what she was getting into when she got with Jax, he even warned her, but I still feel for her. She's a target and doesn't know why. You can tell the stuff she was saying in the hospital bed is just rationalization, she's trying to convince herself of the bright side. Her dreams were crushed, and she gave up her life for the club. I felt really bad for Jax this episode too.

This will either break her and Jax up, or strengthen them like never before. I'm pretty sure this is the beginning of the end for them though.

The Beef with the niners - Nothing really big but its the last thing they need right now.

The "lobos" getting blamed for the attack on Tara will only bring one more enemy to the sons, once they retaliate. Clay sure knows how to stir up shit.

Gemma getting beat. I have to admit, i had a tough time watching that. I really like Gemma and don't like seeing any woman get beat, especially her. It was hard to watch. The fallout from this is going to be bad.

I almost forgot about the scene with Opie. How Jax now wants to get out for his family, but when Opie tried that he talked him out of it. Opie is 100% correct. It's sad but true, Jax isn't the best friend he says he is.

I wonder what Tig will do when the news of what Clay has done to Tiny, Gemma and Tara is known. Tig has been Clay's right hand man. What will he do when he learns the truth about Clay. Will he remain true to Clay or turn on him. Despite his craziness and all out meanness Tig is a complex person and his reaction could go either way.

This is my guess regarding Tig. I have felt all along that Tig has a thing for Gemma. I think once he sees Gemma and finds out about Piney I think his loyalty to clay may waiver. that is why I said before there is going to be a long line waiting to plug clay, starting with Gemma, Unser, jax, Opie and tig. Which one gets to him first remains to be seen. But I am looking forward to Clay getting a taste of his own medicine.
