Episode 3: Fix

Postby tvonthebrain » Tue Sep 22, 2009 4:21 pm

If you think Jax and Tara can finally have their happily ever after, you're sadly mistaken (and you obviously don't watch enough television). Tonight their relationship is put further to the test as Tara learns more about Jax's involvement in Luanne's porn business. Thankfully for Tara she gets a crash course from Gemma in how to lay claim to her man.

Also tonight Zobelle comes up with a problem that Hale can solve which will frustrate SAMCRO and the League will take some bold new steps in their quest to bring down the biker gang, by reaching out to local law and force the club to take desperate measures. And finally Gemma's rape is really effecting her relationship with Clay.

This season is shaping up to be quite an interesting one. I'm curious to see how (if) they're going to resolve the Donna situation, because Opie just keeps getting in it deeper and deeper, every episode it seems!

This was another "builder" episode, but pretty good. Too tired to put my thoughts down tonight, but I liked it. I really want to see the aryans dead. Can't wait.
I don't know ... who Clay's hitting, except for you. I'm sure he's hitting you, cause you're his wife and all.

Well, I don't think we're going to see that till maybe (maybe) the end of the season. They've got to have someone around for SAMCRO to kick the shit outta ;)

So what happened after they blew up the house? Did the Aryans get what they wanted out of it?

Confused....

I don't think the Aryans expected that to happen and Hale is going to dig himself a deep hole if he keeps turning his back on SAMCRO.

Something bad is going to happen to Opie I'm afraid. He probably won't die, but he's gonna get seriously messed up. Oh and I wonder what Luanne's "speciality" was?!?

Last night's episode was a good one. I really love the way they are building up the tension between Clay and Jax. Clay intentionally sent Bobby down to take over just to piss off Clay and Bobby knew it. He isnt convinced that Jax and Clay are cool and it's apparently more known to the club then they believe it to be.

Tara is going to become a hard biker broad straight up. She is getting really close to Gemma and as she gets deeper in the club she is going to look more and more to Gemma as a tutor and mother figure and thats going to make her HARDCORE!!

Jax did NOT like the fact that Clay was going at it with his mother and if that was me as soon as he put his hands on her I would have snatched him up and thrown him against the truck. But Gemma held her own quite nicely and let him know she will cut his damn throat if he does anything. Man I have a huge crush on Gemma..lol

The porn thing is pretty boring to me. I like boobs and all that but it really doesnt have much to do with the club in my opinion and is more there just to be shocking.

Hale is going to die I think. The fact that he lied to the club directly is going to get him in a world of hurt and quickly if I know Tig and Clay.

Opie doesnt have a death wish, I believe him. I just dont think he cares any more and he knows the club is his life and the one sure thing he can hold on to. He is fiercely loyal and will die for them if need be. I loved it when he saw the AB walking towards him and he just started walking right back with a hammer. he would have done some damage to them before they got him thats for sure.

Great show..next week is going to be explosive again with Gemma seeing Henry and him being a punk to her. Plus with the Bounty Hunters robbing them it is going to get ugly as you can tell by the home invasion.

I doubt they will kill Kale. They cannot just go around killing cops. Also, they DID anticipate his holding the knowledge back.

Ill tell you what, when I saw them planting the bomb, I expected that the brotherhood would have placed some family in there with a bunch of children (since I believe they already told Hale about what they knew) in case SAMCRO took the house out. Guess I was thinking too deep into it.

The writers for this show have us more strung out than Jax's old lady looking for her next score.

I think the last few episodes are really starting to build on Jax's father's legacy for the club. Clay's underhandedness is really shining through. And with the death of Donna, he almost hitting Gemma and undercutting Jax in club matters, his control is and decision making will ultimately be questioned. Even Tig is starting to see things in a different light. Unfortunately for Jax in his quest to become legit, the past sins of the club will come back to haunt them.

Gemma is positioning Tara to take over as leading lady of the club. With her assault, she is even seeing things from a new point of view. She will still be strong but will eventually fade away and let Tara finally take her rightful place with Jax. She is respecting Tara more and more.

And did you see the look Opie gave Clay when he said he was rewarding Bobby for his 2 months in lockup after he did 5 years for the club and didn't get anything but an atta-boy? He will not hurt himself as he doesn't have a death wish and will be a strong right hand to Jax when everything finally shakes out.

I am hooked on this show like a teenager tied to a two dollar hooker on prom night. Excellent writing. I'm in it for the long haul.

I think you're right RE: Clay and Gemma. She obviously has had a stressful time and may be looking to pass that "mother" role. Clay is definitely starting to become a bit stressed out by the whole thing too, and he doesn't even know what it is.

I LOVE the way they had Tara 'take control' of the situation and show the girls who was the boss. There's no doubt that was intentional. Maybe not 'planned' so much, but it shows that she can think on her feet, when the situation calls for it.

Jax is definitely still struggling with the VP position, and what he knows. Then again, the moment he stops, this show stops being a show, because that's what this show is pretty much about.

These guys keep me coming back week after week, and the comparison to 'crack' is definitely applicable. I love it, and think they've definitely got something special for the season 2 finale
