SAMCRO leaves Charming to participate in a charity motorcycle club run, and with them gone, Gemma runs into more trouble with the League.
I don't know ... who Clay's hitting, except for you. I'm sure he's hitting you, cause you're his wife and all.

Having seen this one, I have to say this is the weakest season 2 episode yet. It had it's moments where it was decent, but overall, it really didn't do much to build up the current plot in the season. Sure, Gemma found out who's who and what's really going on, but that was pretty much it.

I STILL love the show, but this had to be the lamest episode I've seen this season. When it takes almost 15 minutes to actually get to a scene that matters, there's a problem.

I was disappointed when she couldn't kill her rapist. Then again its too early to kill Rollins off.

Probably the most interesting thing in the entire episode was at the end when after Clay told Jax he was going to have to accept and deal with the issue of Donna's death and Jax replied to Clay that Clay had decades to do so. I think Jax just implied that he knows that Clay had something to do with the death of his father.

Well, we know Clay's had to deal with deaths of "friends" before, even having caused them. Remember the drug addict in season one who's dad he "had" to kill? I dunno about John Teller, but it's entirely possible that Clay was involved.

I think he was referring more to decades of experience than anything, because Clay certainly has that.

Gemma disappointed me last night. She got soft just because he was on the phone with his son. She should have shot that dude right in the dick and then spit on him and left him to bleed out. She needs to get mad because they are just fucking with her to get to the club.

Opie is turning against Jax and thats obvious. He is pissed because Jax is always asking about his kids and Op isnt trying to hear that right now. He is trying to get as deep in the club as he possibly can and Jax is trying to keep him in the real world. And when and if he finds out that Jax knew about Donna he is going to go after him.

Jax and Clay need to get at it already. This whole talking back and forth shit is getting old fast. The little push was OK, and I liked the threat at the end but they're stretching this out too far for my taste. That was a great ending (did anyone else notice Jax's bottle said 'Jake Daniels'?) and I love that they are going down that path but shit man, just get at it already!!

The whole Bobby's bike running like crap was cheesy to me. That bike was spitting out gray smoke like it shouldnt have even turned over. Why in the hell would they even let him ride that thing on something as important a run as that? Lame. But Tigg getting captured and beat up by the bounty hunters was awesome. And then the look on his face as Piney pushed that flatbed thru the window was classic!!

a really great plot twist would be if Jax find out clay had something to do with his dads death. I really liked that gemma didn't kill that white supremist dude because he was talking 2 his son. i really showed that theres somehting under all gemmas smart remarks and tough guy act, probbably cuz she's got a son and grandson

I agree. It's realism and depth of character on her part. Even with all her anger, she has that maternal instinct. The facial expressions were crazy. Katie does such an incredible job with this character. I really hope they don't forget her when award time comes around.

I agree. I didn't really like this episode either. I feel like the thing with Tig was important, but it seemed so rushed and predictable. The Tig drama however, established a few things:

Made us all care about him and remember he's a brother (even though he's on our shit list)
helped the prospect earn his stripes
showed that when shit comes down, his brothers have his back
taught us more about his character (both with the bravery of pissing off the bounty hunters, and the livestock thing).

The tension between Clay and Jax came to an all time high tonight. We all know it's going to blow up, we just don't know when. And Clay threatening Jax just shows what a true douchebag he really is. He should not be the leader, and he is an evil person. I know that they are bikers and not choir boys, but Clay has nothing but his own self interests in mind. They might all be degenerates and criminals, but at least they have a bond, and a societal code. Clay does not follow that.

This episode went kind of slow for me, with spurts of action here and there to spice it up, but overall I wasn't really impressed with the episode. I think the next one will be better. They should have drug out the Tig drama for two episodes, make us really wonder what would happen.

And I learned I have to stop watching previews, because then I already know what's coming.
