Episode 3: Caregiver

Postby Jeremy » Tue Sep 21, 2010 11:50 pm

To secure weapons and raise money for Abel's search the club exploits its porn connections to entertain Henry Lin's clients, Which doesn't sit well with Opie. Jax's decision to search for Abel in Canada gets derailed. When Gemma's dad goes MIA, her prisoner makes plans to do the same.
I don't know ... who Clay's hitting, except for you. I'm sure he's hitting you, cause you're his wife and all.

Sutter is one sick puppy. First the execution in church with the priest's blessing and now the "cleaner" and we're only three episodes into the season. I can't wait to see what he plans to do later in the season to top these story lines.

Anyone else wonder why Tig didn't dispose of the body himself?

I did wonder why Tig didn't take care of the body himself but having said that it was a brilliant move on Sutter's part to get Stephen King for this all to brief cameo. King could not have played the role of the "Cleaner" any better. Just for the short 5 to 10 minutes that he was on he made me truly believe what a sick, twisted individual he is. Tara when the cleaner comes up from the basement, "Where is she?" the cleaner, "Where's who?" I loved it!!

And I still don't get why they are not returning Abel to Jax. Is it out of revenge for something we don't know about yet? Anybody have any thoughts on this?

After re-watching the 3rd episode last night something else that I picked up on... the Irish lady's daughter, since it was revealed that she was in love with John Teller, did they have an affair and is her daughter going to turn out to be Jax's sister. That would be an interesting twist.

You gotta think Jax is headed to Belfast at this point. Only thing I didn't understand in last episode is why in the hell Opie would have been at the porn party -- there's no way the other guys would have let him be there.

Great point on the lady who had an affair with John Teller -- I agree that chick could very well be Jax's sister.

i think the whole revenge thing is about something John Teller did. in a interview with charlie hunam he says that jax learns some dark secrets about John teller in belfast. im thinking one of those things involved the IRA and in an earlier episode the priest says to cameron we have been working with SAMCRO for however many years (i cant remember) and you kidnapped the grandson of the man who made it all possible. remember the irish chick said that if only JT had stayed in belfast and the priest said his family was in charming. i think we will learn about it later in the season. i loved opie at the porn party when he lost it and bursts throught the doors and they all get into a fist fight with triads and instead of an explantion clay simpily says "hopefully someones filming it"

i agree, its more likely than not, im loving the SOA/IRA belfast storyline. just gonna throw this out there, remember in season 2 when clay says "jimmy, one more comment like that and i call McGee in BELFAST and pull all the sons support. I think the gray haired guy that comes into that irish store with the First 9 patch is McGee. did you notice how he and that sergent at arms seem at least from first glance the same relationship that Clay and Tig do? so 4 down (McGee, Clay, John Teller and Pinney) and 5 to go. i also saw on imdb that there is a guy named nate madock in the next episode. correct me if im wrong but wasn't he the guy they suposebly killed by explosives in season 1 episode AK-51 after nate and his milita used AKs that Jax and pinney sold them to rescue another guy from a prision convoy and killed some cops.

Isn't it funny how one person picks up on something that someone else might have missed. I rewatched 3 and you are right about the similarities between the two guys that came into the shop and Clay and Tig. And you could very well be right about that being McGee. He did seem to have some authority over the other guy at least. Do you think he is married to Mo (I think that is the Irish lady's name) and if so is he raising John Teller's daughter the same way Clay raised John Teller's son. Could be another similarity between that guy and Clay. Of course that is just speculation. Regarding the episode with the Nate character; his character's name was Nate Meineke. I didn't remember this. I had to do a little research on that. I wish my memory were that good. But they are two different characters.
